Five Things I'm Digging Right Now...

1. Orangina - The Ralph's in Laguna Beach had it and I remembered just how much I love the stuff. It's like a trip to Paris in a bottle. I love nostalgic food/drink.

2. Mental Floss - This is a great magazine for newsprint and trivia junkies. Every article is informative and succinct and you finish reading feeling like an expert on something. I especially like the Unbiased Guide to Really Big Issues (Health Care, Illegal Immigration, etc.). 

3. 30 Rock - With The Office off the air I've had to find new shows to watch. I got 30 Rock from Netflix and have been enjoying it. I love, love Tina Fey so I can't figure out why it took me so long to get on board with 30 Rock, must be the fact that Alec Baldwin bugs me. Anyway, this show is awesome. Also I'm excited for Tina's new movie Baby Mama.

4. Nutella - It had been a long time...but it's just as good as it's always been. It always reminds me of Mary Sohn, my 3rd grade teacher, she's the one that introduced me to it.

5. Erin Berrett - She's a local artist in Utah and she is awesome. I just bought my first piece of real grown-up art and it was a painting by Erin. Also it's of shoes which makes it 10x as awesome. Check out her stuff at her website, she rocks.   www.ewbpaintings.com

Pick Your Nose

I want to have a party just so I can use these cups. They're called "Pick Your Nose Party Cups" and you can buy them at Fred Flare (which by the way is another totally fun online store). I think these are hi-larious. Let's see what holiday is coming up? St. Patty's Day? Easter? Expect an invite...

The Lady with the Alligator Purse...

I just wanted to share a couple of awesome websites. I love purses - always have, always will. Spending thousands of dollars on a bag is totally nuts and because I can't visit Canal Street as often as I'd like, I have to resort to the web. Shop Suey Boutique has awesome knockoff designer bags for right around $50. I've bought a couple and I really like them. Bag Haus is also a great resource albeit a little more expensive. I did try buying a bag from ioffer.com because I really, really wanted this replica Tod's bag and I found it (from a seller in China) but I never received the bag so I don't think I'll do that again. Ebay's not a bad option either.

Pick a Winner...

It's time to pick a winner. And no, I'm not talking about the election, I'm talking about something much more important -- American Idol.  I'm throwing my support behind two candidates -- Brooke White and David Archuleta. I think they're both awesome. Also, on a different note, Paula seems increasingly unstable this season. Last night was a train wreck. I think it's time somebody went to rehab. I've supported Paula since the "Forever Your Girl" days and I think it's time to get help. Anyone else wondering what they've got in those Coke cups? Also, sorry but that Danny Noriega guy has GOT to go.  He drives me nuts! Anyway, I digress -- Go Brooke! Go David!
